Mage won the Kentucky Derby Saturday, May 6, during the 149th running of the race.
Two Phils came in second place, with Angel of Empire taking the third spot.
The race was run under good conditions after Kentucky Derby favorite Forte was scratched from the race earlier on the day. Forte was one of five horses that scratched from the race during the week leading up to the Kentucky Derby.
