Tony Mueller, 99, of Hopkinsville

A funeral mass for 99-year old Anthony “Tony” Mueller of Hopkinsville will be held Monday, May 8, at noon at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hopkinsville.

Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be said at 11:30 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Mehlville, St. Louis County, MO he was born March 17, 1924, the son of the late Joseph W. Mueller and Anna Jennewein Mueller.

He was the founder and former owner of Kentucky Moving and Storage. He was a WWII United States Army veteran. He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He was also a former member of the Elks, Lions Clubs, VFW, Kiwanis Club, and the American Legion. He was a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his daughters: Christe (Roger) Westfall and Beth Mueller both of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren: Jamie Morgan, Zachary Westfall, and Cate (Cullen) Marriott; his great grandchildren: Caroline Morgan, Anthony Morgan, and Rhodes Marriott; and his beloved K-9 companion: Charlie.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School Building Fund.
