The Hopkinsville Fire and Police Departments had a chance to meet with the community and provide some education about their day-to-day operations Friday during the Cookout With the City at the Boys and Girls Club.
First responders grilled food and hosted activities for those of all ages. Fire Department Spokesman Peyton Rogers said Friday was a chance to have a community presence.
