Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges In Hopkinsville

A traffic stop on East 21st Street led to drug charges for a Christian County man Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say 23-year-old Sidney Hall was stopped for failing to use his turn signal and during the stop, the odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle.

Hall and his passenger reportedly admitted to smoking marijuana in the vehicle and Hall was found to have a bag containing meth on him.

He was arrested and charged with possession of meth, failure to or improper turn signal, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
