Two Charged With Trafficking Drugs After Oak Grove Traffic Stop

Two men were charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard Tuesday morning.

Oak Grove Police say they stopped 44-year-old Mickey Austin for a turn signal violation and during the stop the passenger 34-year-old Danny Martin gave conflicting information on where he was living.

Austin was asked about a digital scale that could be seen by officers and he allegedly gave them a glass pipe containing a crystal substance.

Police say after a search of the vehicle meth, heroin, and marijuana were located. They were both arrested and charged with trafficking meth, possession of opiates, and marijuana. Martin was also charged with first-degree promoting contraband and tampering with physical evidence.

Austin was also cited for failure to or improper signal.
