One Injury Reported Following Hopkinsville Severe Storm

A lone injury was reported in Hopkinsville after a severe storm caused significant damage at various points across the city limits late Friday night.

Payton Rogers, the Public Information Officer for the Hopkinsville Fire Department, told Your News Edge that EMS crews transported that person to Jennie Stuart Health.

The fire department does have 6th Street closed between South Virginia and South Main streets until further notice.

Rogers said calls for storm damage were still coming in Saturday morning as people are getting a better idea of what happened in their neighborhoods.
