Mrs. Martha Patricia “Pat” Fugate Young age 75 of Elkton, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.
Memorial services will be Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Cummings officiating. Visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time for the service at Latham Funeral Home. Services will be live-streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
Burial will be at a later date in Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton.
Mrs. Young was born on April 2, 1947, in Franklin, KY. She retired from Todd County School Board as a Bus Monitor and worked in the Migrant Program. She was also employed with Weathers Drugs. She is a member of Elkton Baptist Church where she was the Church Clerk and AWANA Volunteer. She loved to cross stitch and collect Barbie Dolls and Beanie Babies, she was a volunteer for Relay For Life for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents Allie Fugate in 1983 and her mother Agnes Alene Gorrell Fugate in 1990.
She is survived by her husband Paul Young of Elkton, her son Cody Justin Young of Elkton, her daughter Dawn Smoczynski and her husband Mike of Lecanto, FL, her sister Etta Hughes and her husband Glenn of Trenton; her grandchildren Brandon and Randal Smoczynski both of Lecanto, FL; her nieces, Julie Hamlet and her husband Henry of Trenton and Lindee Monroe and her husband Adam of Allegre.
