Pembroke Man Indicted On Federal Drug Charges

 

A Pembroke man was arrested on a warrant for federal charges after an investigation by several law enforcement agencies in connection to drug trafficking.

Hopkinsville Police say Morgan Hancock Jr. was arrested after two kilos of cocaine, three firearms one that was reported stolen, and $75,000 in cash were found after a search of his Pembroke home and other locations.

He was located in Hopkinsville Thursday and allegedly had a large amount of money and a handgun in his possession. Hancock is charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

The investigation was a joint investigation involving U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Paducah Post of Duty, Hopkinsville Police Department, the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force (Clarksville, TN), DEA Paducah Post of Duty, and Hopkinsville Police Department Crime Suppression Unit.
