A Florida development company that purchased Pennyrile Marketplace in Hopkinsville says they will have new businesses opening soon.

Mike Fimiani, President of Fimiani Development Corporation, confirmed to Your News Edge Wednesday they have signed leases with four businesses.  Those include; a florist, a pizza and sub shop, a physical therapist’s office, and a salon suites operation.

Fimiani said those tenants are under construction, with expected opening dates in the next 60 days or so.

As Your News Edge has previously reported, the company acquired Pennyrile Marketplace from Seritage KMT Finance. The deal closed around October 2022, with a $3.75 million price tag.  The 85,000-square-foot shopping center is currently home to Bargain Hunt, Farmers Furniture, and Harbor Freight Tools.

Fimiani said exterior improvements have been made, with a new pylon sign installed. Each tenant will have a panel on the sign that faces Fort Campbell Boulevard.

He added they have seven spaces still available for rent, the smallest space is approximately 1,300 square feet, with the possibility of combining spaces to create a space up to 6,000 square feet.

The company’s goal is to have all spaces rented by the end of the summer.
