Changes are continuing to be made at Lake Barkley State Resort Park to improve things for tourists and locals alike.
Ashley Stevenson, assistant park manager, presented an update to members of the Cadiz Rotary Club Tuesday.
She said some of the biggest questions lately have been about the Windows on the Water restaurant. One, of course, is about the return of beloved buffet offerings.
The restaurant is open Thursdays for lunch and dinner; Fridays and Saturdays for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; and Sundays for breakfast and lunch. Stevenson said they hope to hire more employees to open the restaurant every day soon.
She added several construction projects are happening at the park, including renovations to all of the lodge guestrooms.
Stevenson said there are lighting upgrades coming to Smith Broadbent Field at Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
She also provided an update on Boots Randolph Golf Course, with some work still needing to be completed this year.
Stevenson said there are numerous job opportunities at Lake Barkley State Resort Park, with some new ones to be released in the coming weeks as they prepare for the summer months.
