An emergency declaration is in place in Christian County to help with costs associated with utility repair and cleanup in the wake of Friday’s wind and severe thunderstorms.
Christian County Judge Executive Jerry Gilliam says signed the state of emergency declaration during the weekend to clear the way for reimbursement and future assistance.
