A partnership between two friends is leading to the opening of a new specialty store in Cadiz that will carry on a tradition started by Mrs. Katie Broadbent many years ago.

Hancock’s Neighborhood Market owner Mallory Lawrence and Barkley Plantation proprietor Clara Beth Hyde will soon open The Persnickety Pig in Broadbent Square in the same building where Broadbent Foods and Gifts was located for many years.
