Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest In Hopkinsville

A Christian County woman was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on South Virginia Street Monday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 52-year-old Melissa Adams-Goode was stopped for not having a license plate on the vehicle and during the stop, she was asked for consent to search the car.

Marijuana and meth were reportedly found inside the vehicle and she claimed neither the car nor the drugs belonged to her.

She was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and no registration plates.
