The Teletech call center that was located in Bradford Square Mall in Hopkinsville was closed in 2022 by the company. According to a statement from TTEC Vice President of Corporate Communication Tim Blair TTEC closed the Hopkinsville, Kentucky, site effective August 2022.
Blair says as TTEC strives to grow its business and meet client demand, they’re continuously looking for ways to ensure a rewarding employee experience. Blair says that includes flexible and remote work environments.
Blair said the colleagues from the former Hopkinsville location now work remotely and from home, seamlessly supporting clients and customers.
The official statement released to the News Edge comes after those driving by the former location noticed no cars in the parking lot during the past few months. South Western Kentucky EDC Director Carter Hendricks told the News Edge Wednesday they had received no communication from TTEC about the Hopkinsville location.
Teletech announced plans to locate in Bradford Square Mall in Hopkinsville in 2012 after reaching a deal through the South Western Kentucky EDC. The company was expected to employ more than 700 people at the call center when it was fully staffed.
