Two Crofton women were arrested on warrants for alleged child abuse Thursday.
According to Hopkinsville Police reports, 43-year old Myra Gwen Smith and 19-year old Savannah Faith Smith were taken into custody at a residence on Dawson Springs Road around 9:30 p.m on separate indictment warrants signed by Chief Circuit Court Judge John Atkins. According to the citation, each was separately charged with first-degree criminal abuse child 12 or under.
No other information was released.
