A man was charged Wednesday in connection to a 2020 shooting that happened in Oak Grove.
Oak Grove Police say 45-year-old Edwin Stewart assaulted and shot Christopher Wortham in the chest at a party on Kerri Lane before fleeing the area on July 18th, 2020. Wortham was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter on Pembroke Oak Grove Road that flew him to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Stewart was arrested Wednesday by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office and charged with first-degree assault and he was found to have a warrant for failure to appear.
