Two Arrested In Christian County Drug Investigation

A drug investigation involving the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit, Fort Campbell Criminal Investigation Division, and Oak Grove Police led to the arrest of two men Thursday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they conducted the search warrant at the 200 block of Ruf Drive in Oak Grove and located 22 fentanyl pills, marijuana, and a set of digital scales.

24-year-old Jordan Choate of Oak Grove reportedly admitted to the items being his and he was arrested and charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Also arrested at the home was 22-year-old Jordan Jackson of Clarksville who had an outstanding warrant out of Montgomery County for aggravated kidnapping.

Deputies say in the 2019 Kentucky overdose fatality report, fentanyl was involved in 759 cases, approximately 58% of all overdose deaths for the year. Acetylfentanyl was involved in 419 cases, approximately 32% of all overdose deaths for the year.
