Indictments Returned In Christian County

The Christian County Grand Jury returned several indictments on charges of robbery and burglary.

A true bill was returned on 53-year old Anthony McCoggle, whose listed on the indictment as a transient in Hopkinsville, on a single count of first-degree robbery.

McCoggle was arrested in December in connection to a robbery at Jersey Mike’s on Fort Campbell Boulevard where he entered the restaurant with a gun in his pocket and demanded money. He was also wanted for allegedly cutting off his ankle monitor after being released from the Christian County Jail.

The grand jury indicted 22-year old Jaquavius Whitlock and 18-year old Jontavius Walton, both of Hopkinsville, on one count of first-degree complicity to robbery.

In December, Whitlock and Walton were arrested in connection to a robbery on Koffman Drive in the area of Hopkinsville Middle School where police said a man was robbed, punched, and choked to the point of being unconscious.

36-year old Howki Tools, of Hopkinsville, was indicted on one count of second-degree burglary. Tools was arrested in November by Hopkinsville Police who had allegedly forced his way into an apartment on East 9th Street and taken a refrigerator and television.

A true bill was returned on 41-year old Isaac Dodd, whose address is listed as City at Large on the indictment, on a single count of third-degree burglary after police said he broke into a shed on South Fowler Avenue and stole tools and building supplies.
