A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of drugs after a report of a man passed out in a vehicle in a Dollar General parking lot in Hopkinsville Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 38-year-old Robert Bedell who was passed out in a vehicle parked at the Dollar General on North Main Street.
He reportedly admitted to having a firearm in his possession.
Police say after a search of his vehicle meth was found and he had an expired license and canceled registration plate.
Bedell was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, illegal possession of legend drug, possession of meth, operating a vehicle with an expired operator’s license, public intoxication, carrying a concealed weapon, and no registration plates.
