Man Charged After Report Of Shots Fired In Hopkinsville

A Clarksville man was charged after a report of shots fired on Frank Yost Lane in Hopkinsville Monday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area for the report of a shot being fired from a vehicle and located a vehicle matching the description driven by 32-year-old Damarcus Osborne.

He reportedly told police he didn’t know anything about the shots and was found to be in possession of several bags of marijuana.

After further investigation, it was found that no shots were fired but an alcohol bottle was thrown at the vehicle at 60 mph damaging the door.

Osborne was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, second-degree criminal mischief, and trafficking marijuana.
