Man Wanted In Christian County Assault Arrested After Police Pursuit

A second person has been charged in connection to an assault that happened on June 16 in Christian County after a police pursuit in Logan and Todd Counties Thursday.

Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say they assisted Logan County law enforcement Thursday in a pursuit of 44-year-old Eddie Mosley of Hopkinsville who was fleeing from them after a traffic stop.

The pursuit reportedly came to an end after Mosley drove through several fields but came to a stop in a soybean field off of Allegre Road.

According to a Christian County warrant, Mosley used a baseball bat and Stacy Botts used a metal pipe to assault a person on June 16th in Christian County causing a laceration to the victim’s head and injuries to their ribs and cutting their ear.

Botts was arrested on June 24th and charged with first-degree assault. Mosley was charged Thursday after the pursuit with first-degree assault, fleeing or evading police, and first-degree criminal mischief.
