A home on South Virginia Street at the intersection of Mooreland Drive was damaged in a fire Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Payton Rogers says smoke was coming from the roof when they arrived just before 3 pm.
A man inside the home was able to get out of the home uninjured.
Rogers says the fire appears to have started in the attic of the home.
