16th Annual Soap Box Derby Deemed Delightful

Saturday’s 16th Annual Hopkinsville Kiwanis Soap Box Derby proved to be a success.

Race Director Annie Catron says the entire stock division this year was first time racers.

The Kiwanis Club is a global, non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of children one community at a time. Catron says this event allows Kiwanis to apply their mission by teaching children workmanship skills along with the spirit of sportsmanship.
