A rough patch of I-24 that causes most drivers to ride in the passing lane for most of their trip through Lyon County will see some improvement work done in the coming weeks.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said a westbound lane between the 45 and 50-mile marker will be restricted due to damaged pavement.
A contractor plans to be on-site to start work as soon as possible under a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet master agreement repair order. This work zone is expected to be active for several weeks.
