‘Cooling Our Communities’ Fundraiser Kicks Off

WKDZ, WHVO, and WPKY radios have paired with Pennyrile Allied Community Services to distribute fans during the hottest months of the year.

Kim Allen of WKDZ/WHVO Radio says the promotion is about making sure those in need are taken care of.

click to download audioPennyrile Allied Community Services (PACS) serves the nine surrounding counties of Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg. We have set locations throughout the area where you can donate or purchase fans and monetary donations.

click to download audioLocations in the Cadiz area are Cadiz Ace Hardware and Tina Loomis- State Farm Agent. You can also stop by WKDZ/WHVO studios at 19 DJ Everett Drive in Cadiz. Monetary donations can be purchased on our Big Deals page HERE.

Locations in Hopkinsville are First United Methodist Church, Herb Hays Furniture and Mattress, Hopkinsville-Christian County Library, and Pennyroyal Hospice.

The promotion begins June 1 and will end with a grand finale at the WKDZ/WHVO studios in Cadiz on June 30. We will be opening up our studios to drop off more fans and donations and will be giving all donations from all locations to PACS to distribute throughout July.
