Budget, Autism Bill, Women’s Sports Act Among Legislative Highlights

A sound budget with money in reserve, legislation to provide protection for drivers with special needs, and the save women’s sports act were among the highlights mentioned by area State Representatives that passed during the 2022 Kentucky General Assembly Session.

State Representatives Myron Dossett, Mary Beth Imes, and Walker Thomas discussed a number of the 2022 Kentucky General Assembly session highlights during the final edition of the Legislative Update Program Sunday.

Dossett, who represents the ninth district, says the 2022-24 state budget contains quite a few positives for the commonwealth.
