Police have released the name of a Hopkinsville man injured in a wreck on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say a northbound car driven by 32-year-old Quinnton Thompson failed to stop at a stoplight and hit an SUV driven by 51-year-old Russell Roppel of Clarksville that was in front of him.
Police say they had received several reports of a reckless driver fitting the description of Thompson and his car.
Thompson was taken by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville for chest pain. Ripple complained of leg pain but refused medical attention.
The crash happened just before 6 am at the intersection of Interstate 24.
