Attorneys Preparing For Trial In McHenry Street Murder Case

Another pretrial conference has been scheduled for a Hopkinsville man set to go to trial in June in connection to a fatal shooting on McHenry Street in August 2019.

Robert Torian, III, is charged with murder in the death of 25-year old Terrell Moore after police said the two men got into a verbal argument while inside the same vehicle when Torian got out of the back seat, opened the front passenger door and shot Moore in the face.

At a pretrial conference in February in Christian Circuit Court, Torian’s attorneys were not in the courtroom and he expressed his frustration to Judge Andrew Self about his representation and that his rights are being violated. Judge Self addressed that issue in court Wednesday afternoon.
