Man Charged With Trafficking Drugs In Trigg County

A Mayfield man was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop for an expired tag in Trigg County Sunday night.

Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Collings says 41-year-old Tartio Crutis was stopped for his license plate not being illuminated and being expired on Bypass Road.

During the stop, a marijuana joint could reportedly be seen in the cup holder and Crutis was nervous and shaking.

After a search of the vehicle, 20.6 ounces of meth in 20 separate packages and 1.1 ounces of marijuana, and four rolled blunts were reportedly found.

He was found to have two active warrants out of Graves County for multiple drug-related charges. Crutis was arrested and charged with trafficking meth, possession of marijuana, no registration plates, and rear license plate not illuminated.
