Congratulations to the lower University Heights Academy Academic Team, which recently competed in Franklin and placed third out of 16 teams.
Individual medalists include:
Michael Flynn, first in social studies;
Emma Flynn, fourth in language arts;
Avery Pendleton, first in language arts.
The quick recall team of Pendleton, Ryan Staley, Michael Flynn and Eli Durham won second place overall.
The team is coached by Tammy Staley.
