Hopkinsville Woman Charged With Possession Of Meth

A Hopkinsville woman was charged with possession of meth after she was reportedly breaking windows out of a home with a baseball bat on Butler Road in Christian County Friday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the area for 40-year-old Misty Harris who was using a baseball bat to break a window on the home while the owner and his son were inside.

After she was arrested and taken to jail she was reportedly found to have a small bag containing a white powder in her bra that tested positive for meth.

Harris was also arrested on a Trigg County warrant for fourth-degree assault stating that on February 6th she assaulted her daughter by hitting her scratching her head and pulling her hair while she was trying to get out of a vehicle.

Harris is charged with first-degree criminal mischief, menacing, possession of meth, and first-degree promoting contraband.
