A Hopkinsville man was flown to a Nashville hospital after a rollover crash on Newstead Road in Christian County Monday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a dump truck driven by 56-year-old Eddie Elliott was westbound about a mile west of the Eagle Way intersection when it ran off the road and overturned coming to a rest on its side.
Elliott was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center to meet with a waiting helicopter that took him to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. The full extent of his injuries was unknown.
The crash happened just before 10 am.
