A Hopkinsville man was charged with trafficking drugs and strangulation after a report of a disturbance on Heather Place in Hopkinsville Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 41-year-old Marion Robinson grabbed his girlfriend by her throat twice during an altercation.
He reportedly put a bag of drugs into a closet as police arrived. Police say 13 grams of meth, a digital scale, and 11 grams of marijuana were found on the property.
Robinson was arrested and charged with second-degree strangulation, tampering with physical evidence, and trafficking marijuana and meth.
