A crash involving a tractor-trailer on Pennyrile Parkway sent a Christian County man to the hospital Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a man was changing a tire on a van on the side of the road when his van was hit by a tractor-trailer.
The van traveled off the roadway and the tractor-trailer came to a stop in the median.
The man changing the tire was taken by ambulance to Gordon Park to be flown to a Nashville hospital.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes at the Crofton exit just before 4 pm.
