Hopkinsville Mayor Wendell Lynch says city officials are continuing to keep an eye on a decrease in payroll tax collections as the result of a decline in the workforce in the city limits.
During conservation with the News Edge Lynch says city officials have noticed a decline in payroll taxes, but add they are closely monitoring expenses in all departments.
