Several Storm-Related Injuries Reported Near Herndon

A severe thunderstorm that caused damage in Stewart County, Tennessee crossed into Kentucky just after midnight and resulted in widespread damage and several injuries near Herndon in Christian County.

The Nation Weather Service issued a tornado warning for southern Christian County just after midnight. Most of the damage is southwest of Herndon on Palmyra Road. There were reports of at least four people injured with emergency personnel having a tough time getting to them due to debris in the road.

Joe Wilson told the News Edge that his parents had a tree come through the roof of their home near Bell Station Road.
