Man Struck By Train In Hopkinsville Identified

Authorities have released the name of a Mount Juliet, Tennessee man that was struck by a train in Hopkinsville on November 11th.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called just before 1 am for 32-year-old Joshua Bransford that had been struck by a train somewhere between Walnut Street and East 13th Street.

Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel says after an autopsy Bransford was Identified and along with the help of Assistant Coroner Christy Adams his family was notified.

Several intersections were blocked as the incident was investigated. Police say no foul play is suspected in the death.
