Police have released more details about an altercation that led to a shot being fired on North McPherson Avenue in Hopkinsville Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 49-year-old Danny Wyatt got into an altercation around 9 pm, fired a shot into the air, and pointed a gun at a woman. He then would not let the woman he was arguing with leave, turned off her vehicle, and broke the key.
Wyatt was taken into custody and charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree criminal mischief, and first-degree wanton endangerment.
Police say no one was injured in the shooting.
