A Hopkinsville man was charged with fleeing from police after he was reportedly seen going through vehicles on Denzil Drive Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area for people going through vehicles and found 19-year-old Jaquarean Babb along with a second person next to a car.
They both reportedly ran when police arrived and were located after a short foot pursuit.
Police say after they handcuffed Babb the second suspect took off running again and was not located.
Babb reportedly admitted to going through vehicles and a taser, two phone cases, money, and his glasses were found in the area.
He was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking and second-degree fleeing or evading police.
