Concerns of property values, smells, traffic, and being left out of the process surround the potential new industry coming to Christian County.
About 150 residents met at the Pembroke gym to discuss the meat processing plant that is looking at the area. Moderator, Brandon Garnett went over some of the details that have been made public about the plant and said the land is currently benefiting the economy.
