Woman Charged After Greenville Road Incident

A Christian County woman was charged after a disturbance led to shots fired on Greenville Road in Christian County Saturday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called out to a disturbance involving 27-year-old Joyce Hall at the 3000 block of Greenville Road. During the investigation, it was reportedly found that Hall allegedly assaulted someone, fired a gun out the window of a vehicle, and pointed it at people.

After being arrested, Deputies say she resisted arrest and began kicking the deputies partition in his vehicle.

She was found to have a liquor bottle and a 9mm handgun in her possession. She is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, alcohol intoxication in a public place, fourth-degree assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and menacing.

Hall is a respondent in an emergency protective order and is prohibited from carrying a firearm.
