A wreck on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville sent an Arkansas woman to the hospital Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 31-year-old Leanna Banda-Cruz was turning onto East 9th Street from McLean Avenue when a car behind her driven by 30-year-old Scarlet Gann of Franklin hit her vehicle. Gann told police she thought Banda-Cruz had already gone through the intersection.
Banda-Cruz was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for neck pain. The crash happened just before 1 pm.
