Cadiz-Trigg Planning Commission Approves Grading For Load Covering Solutions

The I-24 Industrial Park could see a new business soon, following unanimous approval of a specific grading plat during Tuesday’s Cadiz-Trigg County Planning Commission session.

Load Covering Solutions — a Canadian company that typically services the North American truck & trailer industry with tarpaulin systems and related accessories — will be constructing a 12,500 square-foot facility at the corner of International Drive and Rocky Ridge Road, and will be moving more than 12,000 yards of earthen material before construction commences.

Frank Williams, president of Ronald Johnson & Associates whose firm is in charge of the original specs, said he wasn’t sure how many jobs come with the facility.

But it’s certainly more growth for the area and its industrial sector.

Williams added that there is room on the property for more expansion, if it’s necessary.

And Williams also noted that Load Covering Solutions has a division for special projects.

Josh Adams, COPCE Tech at Transcraft Corporation and city representative for the planning commission, said he was very familiar with the potential business through Wabash International, recused himself from the vote.
