A Hopkinsville woman has been charged in connection to a stabbing in Hopkinsville Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to Jennie Stuart Medical Center after a man showed up with a large stab wound to his leg. During the investigation, it was found that the man was reportedly stabbed by his wife 40-year-old Maria Zivotin on Hipkins Street.
Zivotin was located and charged with second-degree assault. Police say the man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
