Two Children Being Treated For Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Two children were transported by helicopter to Nashville hospitals for possible carbon monoxide poisoning Monday night.

Hopkinsville emergency personnel say they were called to James Village on East 21st Street just after 9 pm for the smell of gas. The full extent of the childrens’ injuries was unknown.

Authorities are continuing to investigate where the carbon monoxide came from.
