Order Issued Requiring Masks At Christian County Justice Center

All staff and visitors at the Christian County Justice Center are now required to wear masks in consideration of public safety due to the increase of new COVID-19 cases in the county.

All the District and Circuit Court judges in Christian County signed an order Wednesday requiring all employees interacting with the public or in common areas of the Justice Center along with all visitors must wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering over their nose and mouth while inside the facility.

According to the Order, individual judges, in their respective courtrooms, at their discretion, may allow a party, attorney, or witness to temporarily remove their mask of facial covering if sufficient social distancing can be maintained.

The Order went into effect Thursday and applies regardless of vaccination status.
