A Hopkinsville home was damaged and a family was displaced after a fire on Sanderson Drive Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville firefighters from two fire stations responded to the fire in the 100 block shortly before 9:00 and found flames coming from the rear of the structure. Fire officials say the family was able to escape the home without injury and firefighters had the fire under control in ten minutes.
Officials say the family was displaced due to the damage to the home.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
