The annual Friends of Lake Barkley Fireworks show returns Saturday night after taking a year off because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jim Mullins, with the group, said the show would begin immediately after sunset at Lake Barkley Beach. Pyro Shows of Tennessee will do the show.
Mullins added they would be taking donations for next year’s show at the front entrance.
Food vendors Dos Margarita and Brothers Get Down BBQ will be on-site at the beach before the show.
In addition to the beach, Mullins said the fireworks could be seen from the Lake Barkley Lodge and Marina.
106.5 WKDZ will host a 2021 Independence Day Parade, with coverage to begin Saturday evening at 8:00 and a fireworks musical salute sponsored by Cadiz-Trigg County Tourism to start around 9:00 to coincide with the fireworks at Lake Barkley Beach.
