Hopkinsville Man Charged In Phone Service Theft

A Hopkinsville man was arrested on a warrant for theft Friday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say an employee of Verizon Wireless 24-year-old Tevin Clea provided over $22,000 in phone services by making dummy unpaid accounts from October to December.

He reportedly admitted to being paid to commit the fraud. Clea is charged with theft by unlawful taking.
