Attorneys believe a resolution can be reached before a trial in the Trigg County man charged with stabbing another man last year.
Dustin Underwood is charged with attempted murder, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being a persistent felony offender in connection to a May 2020 stabbing in southern Trigg County.
Police say Underwood used a knife to cut a man’s jawline during a fight.
Underwood’s attorney Mary Rohrer told Trigg County Circuit Judge C.A. Woodall Monday afternoon through a virtual session that it was her belief that a resolution could be reached before a trial.
Underwood is scheduled to be back in court on August 11.
